JenniferStephanie Italia Ricci born October 29, 1986 is an American-Canadian actress. She's famous for playing April Carver in the 2014-2015 ABC Family television series Chasing Life, and for being the White House Chief of Staff and Special Advisor Emily Rhodes in the television drama series Designated Survivor from 2016 to 2019.During 2009, Ricci began appearing in American productions that featured small roles in How I Met Your Mother, House, and Greek. In the same year, she also had a regular role in the show in the role of Sasha in Secret Girlfriend on Comedy Central. She played Maggie Winnock in Unnatural History, a Cartoon Network live-action series. The show also featured her in an Clean & Clear commercial. In 2011, Ricci made an appearance in the short film Valediction. Ricci was a small part in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's debut first film as a director Don Jon in 2013.
